Victoria Renee Jeffries Booker was born June 24, 1972, to the union of Gloria and Cleloyd Jeffries in Aurora, Illinois.
Affectionately known as Vicki, Vicki accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of a New Community Baptist Church in Aurora, IL where she was baptized.
From a very young age she had an entrepreneurial spirit; she was always trying to come up with ways to make money. She braided everyone’s hair in the family, she did taxes, she was a jack of all trades.
Vicki was a family oriented person. She was full of life, outgoing, had such a kind heart and would do anything for anyone. She was a God-fearing woman who believed in God and his blessings. She believed that your blessings came from being a blessing to others. She always had advice, words of encouragement and wisdom to share with any and everyone who would listen.
In 2011 she married her childhood sweetheart, Leonard Booker, whom she had been with since the age of 16. They have one son, Demetrius Booker.
She always wanted to follow in her sister’s footsteps so she joined the Army Reserves where she served for four years.
She attended DeVry University where she received a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. She was employed as a Software Engineer.
Vicki departed this life on September, 12, 2025. God saw that she was tired and called his child home to rest. She was preceded in death by her father Cleloyd Jeffries, grandparents, Marion and Lavora Pegues Jeffries, and John and Addie Lee Harris and various other family members.
Vicki leaves to cherish her precious memories, her mother Gloria McKinney (Lewis), husband Leonard Booker, son Demetrius Booker, three granddaughters Amiya, Kimora, and Anissa, sister Aretha King (Kiowa), and brother McSartuse Harris, brother-in-laws Robert Booker, Norman Booker (Jackie), Charles Booker (Demetria), sister-in-law Evita Dexter (Vernett), mother in-law Jocelyn Hernandez (Tony).She leaves behind a multitude of treasured aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
