Anthony Raymond Reiter "Tony" passed away peacefully at his home on February 15th after a 4 year battle with lung cancer, he was 63. He was born June 7th, 1962 at Oak Park hospital to Ramon Lee Reiter and Joanne Hamlin Reiter. Tony grew up in Chicago, he was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan all of his life, he also enjoyed watching the Bears and the Chicago Cubs. He liked the outdoors and fishing was his favorite pastime, wading the Fox River fishing for Channel Cat was one of his favorite things to do, he also enjoyed trips to Northern Wisconsin fishing for Muskie, Northern and Walleye. He spent the last 23 years of his life with his mean old woman (Dee Dugdale), they went on many adventures together. Tony was a house painter and a talented one at that, he was a perfectionist in everything he did. He refinished furniture in his spare time, usually while drinking a cold bottle of Old Style.
He also loved animals, wild and otherwise including the dogs they shared together, most recently Gus and Maggie (yellow labs) and Dudley the cat.
He is survived by his lady friend Dee Dugdale, his sister, Sandy Reiter Harris (Larry) of Cullman Alabama, cousin Sue Johnston(Rollie) of Hayward Wisconsin, many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Per his wishes there will be no wake or funeral.
