They were married in Hawaii in 2002, a joyful milestone that reflected the deep bond they built over time. Terry was a devoted husband whose life was enriched by the companionship, love, and shared memories he and Philip created together.
He is survived by his husband, Philip Lancaste; his brother, Richard Pugh and Gail; his sister, Mary Hansen and the late Harry; and his sister, the late Ruth Rychetsky and Joseph. Terry was known for his warm personality and his many interests. He enjoyed Star Trek, movies, television, and novels, and he especially liked classic television shows such as M.A.S.H. He loved Mexican food and anything spicy, and he found great joy in cooking for family and friends. These simple pleasures brought him happiness and gave him many opportunities to share time and laughter with the people he loved.
Those who knew Terry will remember his gentle spirit, his thoughtful nature, and the care he showed to others. He had a quiet strength and a sincere way of making people feel valued. His presence brought comfort and steadiness, and his memory will remain a source of love and gratitude for all who were fortunate enough to know him.
