Shelby Garrity Life Story

Shelby J. Garrity of Baltimore, Maryland passed away on May 27, 2024. Shelby worked many companies over her lifetime and retired from the U.S. District Court Attorney's Office in Baltimore which she took great pride in being part of. Shelby is adored by all who knew her and loved beyond words by her family. She was a selfless and loving mother who made every family member's life better. In Shelby's eyes her family was her greatest accomplishment in life. She is loved by her late husband Scott who will now welcome her into heaven where they can be together again in the company of the Lord. She will be greatly missed by her children Scott Garrity III, (the late) Norma Garrity, Debbie Garrity, and Tony Garrity. Also loving son-in-law Mike Malinowski and daughter-in-law Karen Garrity; beloved grandmother of Ashleigh and Samantha Garrity, Clifford Cantrell, Michael and Vicky Malinowski, Eric Garrity, (the late) Jennifer Durm and Andrew Davenport. Beloved great grandmother of Allison Laskero, Jackson and Franklin Malinowski. Beloved sister of (the late) Cecil Hooker and (the late) Grace Doged; sister-in-law of (the late) Robert Doged and Nancy Hooker. Also survived by nephews, Bobby and Chris, and nieces Laurie and Susan, dear cousin Marie Ciarpella. 

Services will be conducted at Ambrose Funeral Home of Lansdowne 2719 Hammonds Ferry Road, Lansdowne MD 21227 from 10am-12 with a funeral service beginning at 12pm. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie, MD.

All services will be held in Maryland.
