Robert Wilson Life Story

Robert L. Wilson made his transition peacefully, on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Rush Copley Hospital, he was 65 years of life. He was born to the late George E. Wilson, Jr. and Dorothy (Wilson) McKinney in Marshall County, Mississippi on April 1, 1959. To know Robert was to love him. He was a high-spirited man who loved the Lord. He also loved people, fashion, clothes and good times. He was a giver and often had a trinket to share. Robert was talented in many areas and could give a make-shift repair to most anything broken. He was an excellent painter, could put a mean shine on shoes, and in his day, he was a prime roller-skater. His bold entrance and famous greeting, “Hey Baby…” will be missed by all! He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Modena (Elliott) and Nathan Malone, George Wilson, Jr., Elmer and Helen Miller, two sisters Geneva (Infancy) and Santana Wilson and many aunts, uncles, more family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, one son; Taurean K. Buck, his mother and step-father; Dorothy and Amis McKinney of Aurora, IL, five brothers; George Wilson of Minneapolis, MN, David (Diane) Lee of Grand Rapids, MI, Danei (Charlotte) Willsun of Minneapolis, MN, Thomas Lee (Sam) Wilson, Anthony (Angie) Brock all of Aurora, IL, his uncles: William (Linda) Malone, Thomas (Millicent) Wilson, two aunts; Segretta Sims, and Chris Malone all of Holly Springs, MS along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, family and friends who all will miss him dearly. Take Your rest dear brother. You have fought the good fight. You have finished your course.
