Miguel Angel Rojas

Miguel Angel Rojas, age 45, passed away peacefully May 30th, 2026, surrounded by many loved ones including his wife Martha Salinas and two of his eldest daughters Julissa & Maribel Rojas. He was born on August 20, 1980, in Winfield, Illinois, and lived a life marked by devotion to his family, quiet strength, and a steady appreciation for the simple joys that made each day meaningful. Miguel met many challenges in his life but led it with laughter and love.  He was the beloved son of Jose Rojas and Salustia Hernandez and the devoted husband of Martha Salinas Rojas, whom he married on November 23, 2013. Miguel was a proud and loving father to Julissa, Maribel, Mia, and Dana, and his children were among the greatest joys of his life. Not only was Miguel a beloved father and devoted husband, he was also a caring brother towards Olga, Analine (Enrique), Freddy (Patricia), Manuel, Armando (Rocio), Maritza (Juan Carlos) Pedro (Michelle). In addition, he was a treasured uncle to Suzy, Jessica, Alan, Juan, Armando, Analine, Anayeli, Jacob, and Leo. His family was the center of his world, and he valued every moment spent in their company. Miguel lived in between two cities Morelia, Mexico and Aurora, Illinois, with Michoacan holding a special place in his heart. He worked grueling nightshifts in warehouses since graduating from East Aurora High School. Miguel Rojas had a huge passion for anime, wrestling, comedy, and movies. His long talks of wisdom that often gave off an adaptation of The Godfather live on with those close to him. While he did not care for large crowds, he found comfort and joy in being surrounded by family and close friends. Miguel's daughters inherit his passions, memories, references, and parts of himself with them. Miguel enjoyed a number of simple pleasures that brought him happiness throughout his life. He loved watching wrestling on television and was a loyal Chicago White Sox fan. He also enjoyed listening to all types of music and learned to love and appreciate a good bourbon or whiskey. Those who knew Miguel will remember him as a man who lived with sincerity and humility. He was dependable, thoughtful, and deeply devoted to the people he loved. His presence brought comfort, and his steady nature left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for life’s small blessings, and the gentle wisdom he shared so naturally. He is survived by his parents Jose Rojas and Salustia Hernandez, his closest sister Maritza Rojas, his wife Rosa Martha Rojas Salina, his daughters Julissa Jasmine Rojas, Maribel Rojas, Mia Monstera Rojas, Dona Maria Rojas, and his two nieces Suzy Garcia (Nunez), and Jessica Garcia.  The memorial service will be held on Friday, June 12 from 4 pm to 8 pm. The family asks that everyone wear white.  The Bauman Family Funeral Home 5600 Walter Payton Memorial Hwy, Oswego, IL 60543  Mass will be held on Saturday June 13, 2026 at 10am at St. Therese Catholic Church,  271 N. Farnsworth Ave, Aurora, IL  60505.

Miguel Angel Rojas a la edad de 45 Años falleció el 30 de Mayo de 2026. El nacio el 20 de Agosto de 1980 en la ciudad de Winfield, Illinois. Fue el amado hijo de José Rojas y Salustia Hernández, y el dedicado esposo de Martha Salinas Rojas, con quien contrajo matrimonio el 23 de noviembre de 2013. Miguel fue un padre orgulloso y amoroso para Julissa, Maribel, Mia y Dana, y sus hijas fueron una de las mayores alegrías de su vida. Miguel no solo fue un padre querido y un esposo ejemplar, sino también un hermano cariñoso para Olga, Analine (Enrique), Freddy (Patricia), Manuel, Armando (Rocío), Maritza (Juan Carlos) y Pedro (Michelle). Además, fue un tío muy querido para Suzy, Jessica, Alan, Juan, Armando, Analine, Anayeli, Jacob y Leo. Su familia era el centro de su mundo, y valoraba profundamente cada momento compartido con ellos. Miguel vivió entre dos ciudades, Morelia, México, y Aurora, Illinois, manteniendo siempre a Michoacán en un lugar muy especial de su corazón. Desde que se graduó de East Aurora High School, trabajó el tercer turno. Fue un hombre muy trabajador aun con su cáncer tan fuerte y desarrollado él todavía hablaba de regresar a trabajar con sus compañeros. Sus compañeros de trabajo no eran solo sus compañeros, eran su segunda familia. Hasta sus últimos momentos lúcidos él se preocupaba por su trabajo y les preguntaba a los doctores cuánto tiempo más iba estar fuera de su trabajo. Miguel Rojas sentía una gran pasión por el anime, la lucha libre, la comedia y el cine. Sus largas conversaciones llenas de sabiduría, que a menudo recordaban el estilo de El Padrino, permanecen vivas en la memoria de quienes lo conocieron. Aunque no disfrutaba de las grandes multitudes, encontraba consuelo y felicidad rodeado de su familia y amigos cercanos. Sus seres queridos, especialmente sus hijas, conservarán sus pasiones, recuerdos, referencias y una parte de él en sus vidas. Quienes conocieron a Miguel lo recordarán como un hombre que vivió con sinceridad y humildad. Era una persona confiable, considerada y profundamente dedicada a quienes amaba. Su presencia brindaba tranquilidad, y su carácter sereno dejó una huella imborrable en todos aquellos que tuvieron la fortuna de conocerlo. Será recordado por su amor a la familia, por apreciar las pequeñas bendiciones de la vida y por la sabiduría sencilla y gentil que compartía de manera tan natural. Le sobreviven sus padres, José Rojas y Salustia Hernández; su hermana más cercana, Maritza Rojas; su esposa, Rosa Martha Rojas Salina; sus hijas, Julissa Jasmine Rojas, Maribel Rojas, Mia Monstera Rojas y Dana Maria Rojas; así como sus dos sobrinas, Suzy García (Núñez) y Jessica García.
