Marco A. Rios

Marco A. Rios, a beacon of kindness and dedication, passed away on July 21, 2024, in Aurora, Illinois, after a life rich in love and hard work. Born on April 15, 1967, in Mexico City, Mexico, to Aurelio and Matilde Rios, Marco's journey was one of courage and perseverance, marked by his move to the United States in 1995, with his beloved family joining him the following year.

A self-taught man, Marco was the epitome of intelligence and determination. He learned everything he needed to know through his own efforts, a testament to his resourceful nature. For 25 years, he worked diligently as a machine operator in Geneva, where his commitment to his work was evident to all who knew him.

Marco's life was a portrait of love and sacrifice. Married to his cherished wife, Maria, in 1989 at Maria Auxiliadora Church in Atotonilco, Mexico, their union was blessed with two daughters, Mirsa in 1994,  and Marlene in 1998. His love for his family was his driving force, working tirelessly to ensure they had everything they needed, including a good education.

His interests went beyond his work; Marco had a passion for travel and a deep love for the beach, finding joy in the simple pleasure of feeling the sand beneath his feet and the ocean's breeze. Those who were close to him will remember Marco as a loving husband, a devoted father, and a kind soul who always put the needs of his family first.
Marco joins those that have gone before him, including his father Aurelio, and sisters Matilde and Virginia. 

Marco will be remembered as a hardworking man that will be sadly missed. We wish you still here to see how much you are loved, and how much more there is still to live for and to know how much we truly loved you.

y esa calidez que solo tú sabías dar.
Descansa en paz; siempre serás parte de nosotros, y tu espíritu vivirá en cada recuerdo y
en cada rincón de nuestro hogar.
