Leticia Pérez Espinoza nació el 9 de enero de 1971 y falleció en paz el 9 de febrero de 2026 en el Centro Médico Rush Copley en Aurora, Illinois. Leticia era una esposa, madre, hija, tía, hermana y abuela amorosa. Todos los que cruzaron caminos con ella sabían que Leticia era la persona más dulce, cariñosa y amorosa que podrían haber conocido. Leticia siempre abría sus puertas con cualquiera que lo necesitara y siempre estaba dispuesta a pasar tiempo con familiares y amigos cuando tenía la oportunidad. Una de sus mayores pasiones era cocinar. Si alguna vez la estabas buscando, siempre estaba en la cocina. Leticia era muy profunda en su religión y fue miembro de la Iglesia Católica Sta. María en Aurora, Illinois.

Desafortunadamente, en el último año, a Leticia le diagnosticaron cáncer. Comenzó a recibir tratamiento en el Centro Médico Rush Copley. Desafortunadamente, su cuerpo no estaba respondiendo al tratamiento y su salud comenzó a deteriorarse rápidamente. Fue ingresada en el hospital el domingo 8 de febrero de 2026 para ser monitoreada de cerca y comenzar tratamientos más fuertes. El 9 de febrero de 2026, desafortunadamente, su cuerpo no estaba soportando el dolor que sentía y perdió su batalla. Su familia recibió la noticia y se reunió con ella hasta que dio su último aliento. Leticia luchó muy duro y vio a cada visitante que venía a verla con una sonrisa, independientemente de cómo se sintiera. Con su repentino fallecimiento, le sobreviven su padre Eleazar Pérez; su esposo, Juan Andrés Jacome; sus hijos, Erick David Jacome, Abigail Jacome, Andrea Jacome; sus hermanos, Carlos Pérez, Martín Pérez, Eleazar Pérez, Odilon Pérez; sus hermanas, Ana Pérez, Rosa Pérez, Lupe Pérez; su nieta, Krystal Katelyna y sus sobrinas y sobrinos. Procedió en muerte por su madre Carmen Espinoza Martínez; Sus hermanos Fidel Pérez; Rogelio Pérez; Su hermana Blanca Pérez. Agradecemos a todos nuestros amigos y familiares por reunirse durante estos tiempos difíciles. Agradecemos al personal del Centro Médico Rush Copley por hacer todo lo que estaba a sus manos por Leticia y el increíble cuidado y tratamiento que recibió, siempre estuvo muy agradecida con todos ustedes. Les agradecemos y apreciamos a todos por todo lo que han hecho. Su amabilidad no pasa desapercibida y gracias de nuevo por estar ahí para nosotros durante estos tiempos difíciles.

Leticia Perez Espinoza was born on January 9th 1971 and passed away peacefully on February 9th 2026 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, Illinois. Leticia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, aunt, sister and grandmother. Everyone who crossed paths with her knew that Leticia was the sweetest, most caring, loving person they could have ever met. Leticia always opened her doors with anyone in need and was always willing to spend time with family and friends when she had the chance to. One of her biggest passions was cooking. If you were ever looking for her, she was always in the kitchen. Leticia was very profound of her religion and was a member at St. Mary Catholic Church in Aurora, Illinois.

Unfortunately within the last year, Leticia was diagnosed with Cancer. She started receiving treatment at Rush Copley Medical Center. Unfortunately, her body was not responding to treatment and her health started declining rapidly. She was admitted to the hospital, Sunday February 8th 2026 to be closely monitored and to start stronger treatments. On February 9th, 2026, her body unfortunately was not withstanding the pain she was feeling & lost her battle.Her family received the news and gathered with her until she took her last breath. Leticia fought very hard and saw each visitor that came in to see her with a smile regardless of how she was feeling. With her sudden passing, She is survived by her father Eleazar Perez; her husband, Juan Andres Jacome; her children, Erick David Jacome, Abigail Jacome, Andrea Jacome; her brothers, Carlos Perez, Martin Perez, Eleazar Perez, Odilon Perez; her sisters, Ana Perez, Rosa Perez, Lupe Perez; her granddaughter, Krystal Katelyna and her nieces and nephews. Proceeded in death by Her mother Carmen Espinoza Martinez; Her brothers Fidel Perez; Rogelio Perez; Her sister Blanca Perez. We thank all of our friends and family for coming together during these hard times. We thank the staff at Rush Copley Medical Center for doing everything in their hands for Leticia & the amazing care and treatment she received, she was always very thankful of you all. We thank and appreciate you all for everything you have done. Your kindness does not go unnoticed and thank you again for being there for us during these difficult times.
