Leah Kinney Wind age 33, formerly of Aurora, passed away on October 9, 2023, in Florida.
She was born on May 14, 1990, in Naperville, Illinois to Sam and Debbie Kinney.
Growing up, Leah was such a social butterfly who enjoyed spending time with her friends, going shopping, cooking and developed a love of cake decorating. Leah had a soft heart for animals and over her life always had pets around including a rabbit, guinea pig and dogs. She graduated from Oswego East High School in 2008. In 2018, Leah welcomed her biggest blessing, her son Oliver. She cherished their time together as well as watching him grow into a loving young boy.
Leah was fun loving, yet hard working. She was proud to complete her BA Degree in business and put that knowledge to good use in the workplace.
After moving to Florida in 2020, She relished being able to take her son Oliver to numerous state parks where they could enjoy the beach and watch the manatees and alligators.
She leaves behind to cherish her beautiful memory her son Oliver; mom Debbie Kinney; Father Sam Kinney; Siblings Aimee (Robby) Richardson and Jason (Brienne) Kinney; grandfather F.B. Kinney; Aunts and Uncles Steve (Penny) Kinney, Lisa (Mark) Fox, Craig (Heidi) Kinney, Karen (Rick) Schadegg; nieces Aubree, Adilynn, Gemma and Nephew Rory.
