Jean F. Hummell

Jean Faye Hummell beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 22 2026 at the age of 89.

Born on 8/27/1937 in Aurora, she grew into a woman defined by her kindness, her quiet strength, and the way she made every person feel seen. She devoted her life to her family, raising her children with patience, humor, and a fierce, unwavering love.

She was known for her warm smile, her ability to find joy in small things, and the way she welcomed everyone to her table. Whether she was sharing stories, offering advice, or simply listening, she made people feel at home.

She is survived by her sons Dean, Duane Phillip, Harvey and Greg who will forever carry her lessons, her laughter, and her love. She is preceded in death by Daniel and Aaron her sons.

Her lifelong commitment to helping others never waivered till the end.

Her presence was a gift. Her absence will be felt deeply. Her love will remain.
