Carole A. Boots

Carole Anita Boots, 84 of North Aurora, formerly of Oswego and Chicago Heights,
passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2023.

Carole was born in Chicago on November 21, 1939, to John and Sophia (nee
Bednarek) Jamrock. She grew up in Chicago in the 79 th and Exchange neighborhood
before moving to Chicago Heights. On October 18, 1958, she married the love of her
life, Ronald Boots at St. Leo Catholic Church in Chicago. They spent the next 44 years
together until his passing on March 20, 2002.

Early in life, Carole worked for the U.S. Postal Service Credit Union, and is remembered
for baking delicious Rosette Cookies. She quickly morphed into grandmother mode
when she began babysitting her grandchildren while her daughter Suzanne was at
work. She is fondly remembered for her car rides to school, full days at the park, being
present at sporting events and her knack for sewing. Carole was able to fix or create
anything from prom dresses to Halloween costumes for her grandchildren.
While at home, she could easily be found watching Judge Judy on the television or any
crime dramas such as C.S.I., NCIS or Dr. G. Medical Examiner. Evenings out she could
be found at the Hollywood Casino or Playing Bingo on Wednesday nights at the
Oswego American Legion Post 675. Those that knew her most likely never got out of a
conversation with Carole without hearing her say “I’ll tell you...”

Left to remember her loving, and charismatic personality are her daughter Suzanne (Dr.
Daniel) DeBartolo; grandchildren James Daniel, Cody James and Alexis Suzanne and
dear friend Sue Lynch. She was preceded in death by her Parents, John and Sophia
Jamrock; sisters Alice, Phyllis and Roseanne and her former son-in-law and friend,
Danny McNamara.

Memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, March 16, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon. at Bauman Family Family Funeral Home.
