Bridget Colleen Bauman, a beacon of love and selflessness, passed away peacefully at her home in Clinton Township, Michigan, on August 19, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on October 5, 1967, in Warren, Michigan, Bridget's infectious smile and boundless energy brought joy to all who knew her.
Bridget's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the deep love she had for her family. She was the cherished wife of the late Joseph Bauman and a devoted mother to Jesse (Leanne) Bauman. Though she faced the heartbreaking loss of her son Brandon, her resilience and strength never wavered. Bridget was the beloved daughter of the late Gerald and Sheila McCracken, and a caring sister to Gerald (the late Anne) McCracken, Katherine (the late Dean) Grzelakowski, and Timothy McCracken. Her role as a grandmother was one she embraced with every ounce of her being, and her "triple threat day" with her grandchildren Chase, Blake, and Aubrey was the highlight of her week. She treated her nieces and nephews with the same love and devotion, Sheila Langford, Colleen LaFleur (Matt), and Timothy Mc Cracken will always hold a special place in their hearts for Aunt Bridget, just as she held for her late nephew, Craig McCracken.
Throughout her career, Bridget made a lasting impact on the entertainment scene, managing venues such as Augies and Club 11, where she made thousands of friends. Her natural ability to connect with people and her dedication to creating memorable experiences for patrons earned her a reputation as a beloved figure in the community.
Bridget's interests extended beyond her professional life. She was an embodiment of love, always putting others before herself. Her selflessness was evident in every aspect of her life, from the way she cared for her family to the kindness she showed to friends and strangers alike. Bridget's courage, especially in the face of illness, inspired all who were privileged to know her.
Her legacy is one of warmth, generosity, and bravery. Bridget Colleen Bauman will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who were touched by her remarkable spirit. Her memory will live on as a guiding light, reminding us to face each day with courage and to always lead with love.
