Alice Smith Life Story

Alice F. Smith, born on October 31, 1960, in the heart of Arkansas, passed away
peacefully on August 9, 2024, in Aurora, Illinois. She was a beacon of love and
friendship, known for her gentle spirit and the warmth she brought to every room.
Alice spent her formative years in Arkansas, where she received her education and
developed a foundation of resilience and kindness that would characterize her entire
life. After completing her studies, she embarked on a fulfilling career, dedicating 11
years of service to Farm and Fleet in Montgomery. There, she not only contributed her
skills and hard work but also formed lasting friendships and became a beloved member
of her team.
In her personal life, Alice's heart was ever-expansive, embracing her husband Randy
Smith, and their children Mandy, Christina, Michaela, and Randall with open arms and
unconditional love. She was a cherished grandmother to Nicholas, Matthey, and Abby,
each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life. Alice's brother, James "Spud"
Brown, and Aunt Linda Moore, will remember her fondly for the countless precious
moments they shared. She was predeceased by her parents, Scott and Alice Brown, as
well as her sister Lisa and brother Allen, all of whom she held dear in her memory.
Alice's zest for life was evident in her hobbies and interests. She had a passion for car
shows, reveling in the beauty and craftsmanship of classic automobiles. Her love for the
outdoors was unmistakable, as she found solace and happiness in being outside with
her dogs, who were her loyal companions. Alice also enjoyed the simple pleasure of
watching her favorite television shows, Blue Bloods and Hawaii 5-O, which provided her
with moments of relaxation and entertainment.
Those who knew Alice will remember her as a loving, friendly, and gentle soul. She was
the kind of person who made friends effortlessly and maintained those connections with
sincerity and care. Her presence was a comfort to many, and her absence will be deeply
felt by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Alice F. Smith's legacy is one of love, friendship, and gentle kindness—a legacy that will
continue to live on in the hearts and memories of her family, friends, and all who were
touched by her gracious spirit. She will be profoundly missed, yet her light will never
fade.
